Omar J. Hopgood-Muñoz is a Litigation Attorney at AMRC.
Mr. Hopgood has counseled clients and litigated at the trial and appellate levels in connection with a wide array of civil and commercial litigation matters. His practice areas include creditors rights, product liability and personal injury litigation. He has also litigated various cases with controversies related to the Public–Private Partnership created for the operation of the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport.
Mr. Hopgood also works in the litigation of commercial disputes, derivative actions, and cases arising under construction law.
While attending law school, Mr. Hopgood was a member of the Civil Litigation section of the University of Puerto Rico Legal Aid Clinic where he represented indigent clients in civil cases and participated in several Moot Court competitions.
